MEIJI Research Polarizing Microscopes |
Our Best-Quality Scopes for Advanced Thin Section Analysis |
This scope is tailor made for advanced classes in optical mineralogy. The Bertrand lens contains a field-limiting aperture and operates on a built-in slider, giving you extra-large interference figures, while the super-bright, variable illumination, built into the large, stable base, is gentler on the eyes during extended viewing and allows easier comparison of grain relief. The analyzer and rotatable, click-stop, swing-out polarizer give excellent extinction conditions. It comes with a gypsum first-order red plate and mica quarter-wave plate, WARD'S Microscope Manual, and dust cover . 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz with a 6′ cord.
